Temperature Monitoring - The Sensor

This little contraption costs about $5 to construct. You can easily cascade (daisy-chain) them. We chose to use telephone cable (cheap and lots of it was laying around), but you can use anything with two wires in it (despite the name 1-Wire bus).

That "109C..." number is a unique identifier that each sensor has. Sort of like a MAC address. That's how you identify it on the 1-Wire bus.
